Job Description:

We're looking for someone with at least 5 years experience developing secure web applications. This person will assist us in building a focused portfolio of administrative applications supporting the research enterprise. The ideal candidate is willing to take on a leadership role, and has a passion for good design, both visual and technical.

Qualifications:

* Ruby on Rails core libraries, design patterns, refactoring and unit testing
* Proven track record of delivering web applications through the full development lifecycle
* Relational database design theory and SQL query languages
* Object oriented analysis, design and programming experience
* Experience developing enterprise-scale web applications with the ability to work with in a self directed environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Extra consideration will be given to those with PHP, Java, XHTML, CSS, AJAX, or project management experience. Be prepared to impress us with a sample of your best work.
